The Boring Biography

With a driving passion for digital and social media, Laura bridges the online world with her public relations, consumer marketing, corporate communications, public health, advocacy relations and multicultural experience.  Laura manages digital strategy at DuPont Pioneer.

In her previous role, Laura provided strategic counsel on social media strategies and initiatives for the pharmaceutical industry’s top 50 companies.  Her understanding of online community dynamics and regulatory parameters drives her eye for meaningful content and engagement approaches and opportunities.  Laura also served as an account supervisor at Fleishman-Hillard, where she managed award-winning integrated communications initiatives for clients.

In addition to her work, Laura has served as the social media director, professional development director and vice president of programming for the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), and social and emerging media mentor for the University of Missouri Kansas City’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program.

Laura is originally from Kansas City. She graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science in Justice Systems and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.
